Welcome to the second issue of Internet Moose
Newsletter.

I am so glad spring is finally here. We had one of the
snowiest winters on record here in Michigan. I am
not sorry to see it pass.

Spring is traditionally the season of new beginnings.
This might be a good time to take reassess your goals.
Where do you want to be with your business? where are
you currently at? and how can you reach your goals?
Take the time to write your goals down and make a
business plan on how you can achieve these goals
breaking them down into manageable parts. I keep
a daytimer at home by the computer to help me
stay focused.

In the last issue I discussed putting the needs of
your customer first and designing your site around
these needs. Many websites do not do this and it
will give you an edge on your competition.

In this issue I want to discuss establishing
credibility. Building Credibility is something that
takes time but once earned will give you repeat visitors
and more business. This is achieved by being consistant
in everything you do, and by putting your customer first.
Make sure your products and services are high quality
and you offer guarantees and refunds. When advertising
state the truth, do not embellish and make claims that
are false. Use testimonials. Another thing you can
do is to establish a discussion board on your site and
be a regular contributor-this will establish you as an
expert in your field. Be sure to put your contact
information on your website and if contacted it is
extremely important to respond back in a timely fashion.
Make sure you have prompt delivery of your products.
Strong credibility takes a long time to develop and
can take seconds to be destroyed never be regained.
The last thing you need is a bad reputation. If
you sell on ebay you know how important it is to keep
your feedback good.
