Using Clickbank to Sell your Online Digital Products

If you sell digital products on the internet and you deliver your products off of webpages, from files or by using email, then Clickbank is probably a perfect solution for you. Clickbank handles some of the internets most popular information products. Clickbank has over 10,000 product vendors and over 100,000 affiliates. Using Clickbank's services is a snap. Once you sign up for an account, then you need to make a couple pages in order to sell your products. One page is: a "Publisher's Pitch Page (PPP)" - where you describe your product and make your sales pitch and have the order link for Clickbank, and the other page is a "Publisher's Thank You Page (PTP) - the page your customers will see after they pay. Customers will only see this page if their transaction went through. This is the page that will have your downloadable products and your contact information.. Your customers will have instant access to your digital information products immediately upon payment.

You set your suggested retail price for your products, and the percentage you offer to affiliates right in your Clickbank account. There is a one-time $49.95 setup fee that applies when your account is activated, but then it is free after that. There are no additional monthly or annual fees. You can sell many different items off your one account, and each item will have its own unique payment link. Each time your product sells, they will deduct their retail markup, and you will get the rest. If the sale was referred by an affiliate, ClickBank also handle paying the commission automatically. You do not have to do any tracking of your own and your affilate is also paid instantly in their Clickbank account. Once your balance reaches $100 (or a higher price that you set) they will start sending you checks from your sales.

ClickBank computes all applicable sales taxes and presents the total price to the consumer on the order form. Clickbank accepts payments by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Eurocard, Bravo, Diners Club, Carte Blanche, JCB, and online checks. Starting in July 2005 they will also accept PayPal payments. Clickbank is a secure way to accept payments and they make the process easy and hassle free so you can worry about more important things such as promoting your business.
